Just wanted to share my experience getting a vehicle delivered from AF Auto Plus all the way to regional WA. I snagged a pretty neat Ford Ranger dual-cab ute for about $32K AUD on afautoplus.com. The bidding process was straightforward, and once I won, the Sales Agent called me up pretty quickly to sort out the 20% deposit. No dramas there, everything was clearly explained and the payment went through fine. Now, the delivery part is what I was a bit anxious about, given the distance from Brisbane. It took about two and a half weeks for the ute to arrive, which felt like an eternity, but considering it had to cross half the country, it's fair enough. The agent kept me in the loop with updates, which was appreciated. When it finally rocked up, I gave it a good once-over during the 10-day inspection period. The multi-point inspection report from AF Auto Plus was spot on; no surprises, which was a huge relief after buying sight-unseen. Comparing it to what I would've paid at local dealers for something similar, I reckon I got a fair dinkum deal, even with the transport costs. Overall, if you're keen on bidding with AF Auto Plus Auction and live a fair way from Queensland, just factor in the delivery time. The vehicle was exactly as described, and the communication throughout was solid. Definitely keen to check out their inventory again when I'm in the market for another workhorse.

Glad to hear it worked out for you! I'm eyeing a decent looking ute on afautoplus.com myself. How long was the wait for delivery to WA, roughly?

Yeah, those interstate deliveries can take a bit, especially from Brisbane to WA. My LandCruiser from AF Auto Plus Auction took about three weeks, but the detailed inspection report was spot on when it arrived.

Totally agree! I picked up a family wagon from them last year, delivered to regional SA. The Sales Agent was super helpful, walked me through the deposit and delivery, no worries at all.

I'm always a bit suss about buying sight-unseen, but the 10-day inspection period at AF Auto Plus is a game-changer. It really put my mind at ease for my Ford Ranger.

Three weeks sounds about right for a cross-country trip. Did you find the overall price, including transport, was still better than what you'd find locally in WA for a similar vehicle?

Definitely! Even with the transport cost, my dual-cab from AF Auto Plus came in well under dealership prices. It was around $30K all up, a fair dinkum deal.

I'm still weighing up my options. How was the rego process once it landed in WA? Did AF Auto Plus help with any of the paperwork, or was it all on you?

They provide all the necessary paperwork for title transfer, but the WA rego itself was up to me, mate. Pretty straightforward though, especially with the RWC from their report.

Good to know! I'm keen on a Nissan Navara I saw on afautoplus.com. The photos looked good, and the inspection report seemed detailed. Just the delivery time that makes me hesitate a bit.

If you're not in a huge rush, I reckon it's worth it. The quality of the repossessed SUVs and sedans I've seen come through AF Auto Plus is generally pretty good for the price. Just manage your expectations on the delivery timeline!
